Precision Cut, Custom, Stainless Steel Metal Signage Letters

Once designers began using sheet metal for decorative purposes, it was only a matter of time before sign markers began utilizing sheet metals to make metal letters and logos- the sky is the limit in terms of looks and design opportunities. Durable enough for outdoors signage, yet perfect for any interior office signage.

Using water jets and lasers to precisely cut your letters from our standard font or your supplied font, our flat cut letters provide greater detail than manufacturers who use a router.

Polishing required a minimum of 2" height and 1/4" thickness or 3" height and 1/8" thickness. All stainless steel letters are shipped without a clear polyuethane coating. Alloy C304 will not tanish under most conditions. In cases where stainless steel will be installed in salt water environments. Alloy 316 offers even better corrosions and tanishing resistance. Using harsh chemical may cause permanenet damage to the materials surface. Soapy water is recommended for cleaning.

Brushed -Alloy C304 Stainless

Alloy C304 is the standard "18/8" stainless: it is the most versatile and most widely used stainless steel. Alloy 316 is recommended for coastal areas. Use of 304 in coastal area may experience premature failure.

Cor-Ten - Natural

1/8" and 1/4" only Cor-Ten - a weather resistant steel created by alloying copper, chromium, and nickel. The material forms its own protective layer when exposed to atmospheric elements. essentially, the top layer corrodes which then protects the steel beneath it. The natural finish does not normally require any form of maintenance such as painting, which makes the material a highly cost effective alternative to other structural steels.

1/8" thick come plain, but most over 3" can be stud welded. All thickness 1/4" and above are Stud Weld. Stud Weld can not be moved. Mounting this type of letter requires drilling the wall or mounting surface to accept the metal studs.

Plain

Mount with small spots of silicon adhesive directly to a flat dry surface. This option can be a bit messy and care must be taken to ensure that silicon doesn't squeeze out from the sides. Pinhead amounts should be used, dotted around the back surface in strategic locations. Masking tape will be needed to hold the letters in place while the silicon dries. A good alternative is to use some double stick tape in places that will do the initial holding while the silicon sets.

Stud Weld 1/8"

Most 1/8" thick 3" high letters can be stud welded All polished orders must have a stud. Mounting this type of letter requires drilling the wall or mounting surface to accept the metal studs.

Stud Mount 1/4" - 1/2"

Stud Mounts are required for all polished orders. Mounting this type of letter requires drilling the wall or mounting surface to accept the metal studs.
